Job Description

The NC Conservation Network is looking for an organized and team-oriented advocate to be our new Energy Policy Analyst. The NC Conservation Network (NCCN) works in partnership with 100 partner organizations and over 178,000 supporters to protect public health and the environment across North Carolina through issue advocacy campaigns. NCCN supports our affiliates, participates in and often coordinates coalition campaigns, and directly advocates for a sustainable future.

The NC Conservation Network is looking for a smart, resourceful, and detail-oriented advocate for a two-year stint as our Policy Fellow. The NC Conservation Network (NCCN) works in partnership with 100 partner organizations and over 178,000 supporters to protect public health and the environment across North Carolina through issue advocacy campaigns. The Policy Fellow is a new position and will be a key member of the organization’s policy staff, helping strengthen environmental protection while getting an in-depth exposure to advocacy in North Carolina.

  • Demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills in English/Spanish

  • Essential Job Functions:

    • Explains federal regulations pertaining to the migrant education program; provides parent/guardian with a description of the Migrant Program and an explanation and purpose of the industrial survey.

Location: We are currently hiring organizers in Dudley NC, Toledo OH, and Monterrey MX.

The McCain Institute for International Leadership, a part of Arizona State University, seeks a full-time Program Assistant to support the Buffett-McCain Institute Initiative to Combat Modern Slavery, a pilot project to address forced and coerced labor in Texas agriculture. The Human Trafficking Program Assistant will report to the Initiative’s Program Manager and will be responsible for a range of administrative and programmatic duties.
